Great, so now we can see that IntelliJ has restarted and we can see this beautiful code linting with the scala plugin. Wonderful, so our Scala plugin has been installed. Wonderful, so here we can see that there is a scala plugin for IntelliJ, this is really helpful because it's going to give us linting, it's going to give us code completion, all the wonderful things that come with IDEs. So, let's do as we're advised and click on install plugins. scala files." And we can also see that we don't currently have any helpful linting. So, we can see this blue bar at the top and it's saying, "There are plugins available that support. So, I'm just going to make this text a little bit bigger so that it's easier to see. So just to check that everything's working as expected, I'm just going to open SRC and then main and I'll double click on main.scala. So, I'll open that up and now we can see that we're in the root directory. So, we can see the directory name learning scholar 3. And this basically lets us see all of our files. Wonderful, so let's open up this project tab on the left hand side. We can say that we trust this project and now IntelliJ is importing our project. So I'm going to click on the route directory and click open. So, let's click on the open icon and I've saved our project files on my desktop. We can either create a new project in IntelliJ open up a directory, which is what we are going to do because we've got our project files to open or we can get a project from VCS, which is version control. We don't have any here, so we'll just click on OK. Wonderful, so the first prompt we're getting is about importing settings. It's asking us if we're sure we want to open it, which we are, so I'll click on open. So now that this is in our applications folder I'm going to double click on this to open up IntelliJ. So I will open this up and it's asking us to drag this icon into our applications folder and a finder window has opened up automatically. I'm going to cancel this one, cause I've already downloaded it. So, we can click on download and then a download begins. The community version has everything we need and it's completely free. And we've got two options, We can either download the ultimate version of IntelliJ which is paid for, or we can download the community version. So, the first thing we're going to do is google IntelliJ Idea and here we can click on download. Let's install IntelliJ for Mac and open up our project files.
